Continuing technical support

IT Support Services

Support for users, infrastructure and selected operational services under an agreed service schedule.

What the support service covers

Suracor records the systems, access, suppliers and escalation routes before taking responsibility for support. Coverage is then divided between user requests, infrastructure operations and resilience work.

Areas of coverage

The exact systems differ by organisation; these three areas show how day-to-day response and maintenance are organised.

Support area 01

User and device support

A route for staff to report faults, request access and resolve issues with devices and workplace services.

Helpdesk Support

Fast triage for user issues, software problems, and day-to-day requests.

Software & Hardware Support

Device setup, replacements, and troubleshooting across your core workplace tools.

On-Site IT Support

Remote-first support that escalates cleanly to on-site work for hardware, networking, and office changes.

Support area 02

Infrastructure operations

Administration, monitoring and maintenance for the networks, servers, cloud platforms and shared systems in scope.

Monitoring & Maintenance

Monitoring, patching, and maintenance to spot issues early and keep core systems healthy.

IT Infrastructure Management

Day-to-day stewardship for servers, networks, updates, and core platform dependencies.

Network Support & Management

Reliable connectivity, troubleshooting, and tuning for office, remote, and hybrid teams.

Support area 03

Recovery and security maintenance

Backup checks, restoration tests, updates, configuration reviews and follow-up work after security findings.

Data Backup & Recovery

Backups, recovery planning, and restore confidence for critical systems and business data.

Cybersecurity Support

Operational security support for patching, malware response, access control, and hygiene.

Proactive IT Solutions

Health checks, audits, and improvement work that reduce repeat issues over time.

How the service is structured

A useful support agreement states what is covered, how requests enter the service, when another supplier is involved and which maintenance tasks happen outside the ticket queue.

Triage before escalation

Requests are recorded, assessed for impact and directed to the engineer or supplier able to act on them.

Coverage across the estate

Support can include user devices, networks, infrastructure, cloud services, identity and routine security administration.

A defined service schedule

The agreement lists the covered users and systems, service channels, escalation contacts and work included outside incident response.

Maintenance as well as tickets

Planned reviews, updates and recovery checks address recurring causes instead of waiting for the same fault to return.

Priorities based on impact

A widespread outage, security event or blocked business process is handled differently from a routine request.
